I am a high school senior and will begin to study Graphic Design at Coker College in Hartsville, SC. I have lived in South Carolina for 6 years, and am currently attending Nation Ford High School. I love taking Digital Art and Design because the endless variety and possibility it presents at the tip of my fingers.

I have taken design classes during every year of high school, each focusing on specific aspect of design. Level 1 focused on foundations of Adobe Illustrator and  Photoshop, learning the programs and skills needed for them. In Level 2, we began working with clients to produce marketing material. During this class, work that we made was actually printed and published. In Level 3, we expanded or horizons to using  the three programs, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, together in more client work. The next and final course is Level 4, a 6 month internship with a design agency.

I am currently working as the spring intern for the design agency Addison Whitney. During my time there, I am learning how to improve my design skills on paper and the computer. I have completed many projects along side the professionals working there, which has allowed me to learn and grow into a capable and professional designer.

I wish pursue a career that allows me to be myself and create to the best of my ability. I look forward to producing honest quality work for my clients and employers.
