Welcome to Level One Digital Art + Design at the Ridge!

Agenda & Assignments

Every week, students will have a tentative agenda detailing what will be done in class that day located inside the Google Drive. If a student is absent, they should refer to the weekly agenda to see what they missed in class that day- it is their responsibility to make up any work missed and talk with the teacher about any handouts or questions they have from that day. Our goal is to prepare students for successful careers and being responsible and organized is a HUGE part of that. Below is a link to the agenda inside the Google Drive.

WOW + Reviews

Words of the Week (WOW) contain 6 vocabulary words used frequently in class and in the field of graphic design & graphic communication that students will be expected to understand and use. The definitions must come from the text book in class & the student must write a sentence using the word. The words will pertain to what we're doing in class that week.

The website reviews will cover what is new and trending in graphic design, reflections on our work in class for the week, or a review of a design agency. It will give students a chance to see what is happening and write responses (with prompted questions) about what they're seeing.

Notes, Tutorials + Lectures

Need the notes from class? No problem! Click the link below to watch a video clip of the lesson. Rewatch, pause, or skip through as needed to find information & take notes for class or to study for a quiz or exam!

Tutorials give students a chance to go through skills learned in class step by step with different professionals to create a piece of artwork. The links below will take students to the tutorial on youtube. They will follow along while wearing headphones/earbuds to listen and work alongside, pausing and rewinding as needed.
